Well connected 

We are aiming to have a range of retail units available in the District and Local Centre, one of which will be a foodstore. We will be working with the Town Council and Town Centre Initiative to develop a retail strategy which complements the existing offer of the town and provides the range of shops people want on their doorstep.

We are working closely with the County Council highways team and Highways England to plan and invest in local junctions and in public transport and cycle connections as part of early and phased works. The road network will include junction improvements/contributions at key junctions within St Neots namely Cambridge St junction, Priory hill junction, Potton Rd Signals, A428 Barford Rd roundabout, and A428 Cambridge Rd roundabout. This will be coordinated with the investment in the strategic network and the A428 upgrade.

It's just a short walk from the station, depending on your starting location within the development, it's an estimated 8 - 12 minute walk.

Extensive fibre networks are part of the infrastructure works at Wintringham to accommodate both commercial and residential needs.

A huge series of investments will create additional capacity and connections across the local area. Following on from completion of the £1.4 billion upgrade of the A14 (completing December 2020), Highways England recently announced the route for the planned upgrade of the A428, which will see the current road become a local road alongside the strategic route. Additional investment is planned for the A1 and along the Oxford Milton Keynes Cambridge Corridor, alongside an East West rail link.

We will also be investing in a series of access points to manage flow from the development onto the local network, and a range of capacity improvements across the local road network to address existing pinch points.
